Capture ideas
SoundCollector listens to your input and quietly keeps the last given seconds. When something good happens — a riff, a phrase, a happy accident — it's already saved.

Behind the scenes
SoundCollector is intentionally small. Each function is built to be fast, predictable, and out of your way during a take.
Circular buffer
Continuously holds the last given seconds of audio in memory. Buffer size is adjustable, but defaults to ten seconds — long enough to capture a moment of inspiration, but short enough to stay out of your way.
Threshold auto-record
Set a level. When input crosses it, SoundCollector records to buffer.
Auto save
Captures the recorded audio instantly with a clean, prefixed filename to disk.
